our hosts while we were at Indy Euphoria were Skinner and Kristie of Sacto. They graciously opened their guest room to us (so good to have a hot shower and home-cooked spaghetti), and made us lots of super delicious vegan food. The story behind their home is they built it themselves (along with many other spaces in their community). Lots of their neighbors are also artists and local crafters, having their art/music studios in their garages. Their home was a lovely display of plants, art made by their loved ones, and all the good good vibes at inhabit the space.
